Jones Reynolds, Co-Host of The View
Star
Jones Reynolds, a lawyer and former NY prosecutor, is known
to television viewers for her candor, confidence and uncanny
ability to clarify muddy legal and social issues. Her knowledge
of the law and talent for television has won her critical
acclaim as a news and legal correspondent.
Star is currently a co-host of The
View, along with four other women including executive producer
Barbara Walters. The View, recipient of the 2003 Daytime Emmy
Award for "Outstanding Talk Show," is the original

conversations. Star has also hosted "Live from the Red
Carpet" on E! Entertainment Television, the quintessential
"must-see" pre-show for all the major award shows.
In
addition to being the co-host of a talk show, Star
is also a popular talk show guest; having appeared
on virtually every daytime and nighttime talk show over the
last eight years. Additionally, she has had featured roles
in several primetime television series and in 2000, Star was
honored to be chosen as a subject of a Lifetime Television
Intimate Portrait profile. Ms. Jones has graced the cover
of numerous magazines including Newsweek, TV Guide, People,
Ebony, Essence, Black Enterprise, Life and Style, In Touch
and New York Magazine. Star is the author of “You Have
to Stand for Something, or You'll Fall for Anything”
(Bantam), which received widespread critical acclaim and became
a bestseller. As a popular commercial personality, Star has
launched her signature line of shoes "Starlet by Star
Jones", that is sold exclusively at Payless ShoeSource,
the number one she retailer in North America.
Star
is heavily involved with numerous philanthropic organizations,
is a frequent contributor to several charitable foundations
and serves on the Board of Directors of the East Harlem School
at Exodus House, Dress for Success, God's Love We Deliver
and Girls, Inc. In 2002 Mrs. Jones Reynolds launched her own
not-for-profit foundation, The Starlet Fund, which
makes financial grants to individuals and organizations that
are dedicated to the support and encouragement of women, girls
and families in need.
Star is a lawyer, television personality,
featured lecturer and philanthropist and on November 13, 2004,
