the African American Chamber
of Commerce of Westchester and Rockland Counties
for a fun fill day of golf at the beautiful ELMWOOD COUNTRY
CLUB in White Plains, NY, Monday, October 6, 2008.
The
Invitational is designed to give new exposure and networking
opportunities to Chamber members, local businesses and corporate
partners in a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere. Enjoy a
day of golf with an impressive list of business leaders, government
leaders and sports personalities.
Our
past Invitational were hosted by such notables as NBC News
Reporter Maurice DuBois and retired New York Knicks player
Herb Williams who both served as honorary co-chairs of the
event. Mr. Row McDaniel, author of “Uneven Lies…The
Historic Story of African Americans in Golf,” (containing
a Forward by Tiger Woods) and notables from the book were
on hand and signed autographs at the outing.
We
are pleased to note, non-golf participants will be able to
enjoy a massage or reflexology at the Doral Day Spa.
Procurement and community development officers from major
corporations are being invited to be sponsors of the Invitational,
which will give Invitational participants an opportunity to
interact with key individuals from the corporate community.
Again,
we invite you to attend the Chamber’s Annual Golf Invitational,
where you will gain new exposure within one of Westchester
and Rockland’s most dynamic segments of the consumer
